      Marvel Marketers is a growing Marketing Consultancy looking to hire a Head of Talent Acquisition.  As the Head of Talent Acquisition you will be responsible for growing our epic legion of Superheroes.  As we enter into 2019 with aggressive growth goals, this role will also have the exciting opportunity to build and develop TalentX,  Marvel Marketers’ Staffing arm. This position will work closely with the CEO, department managers, and client stakeholders to help fill internal industry roles, as well as specific external roles for our clients. As Marvel Marketer’s in-house Lead recruiter and Business Unit owner,  you will identify and match talent with current organizational and external client openings, while proactively developing a pipeline of high caliber candidates. You must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and be an expert in people and how to craft amazing careers for them.

      Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

      As Marvel Marketers’ Senior Recruiter you will:

      • Work closely with Department and Client Success Managers to develop position profiles and understand overall needs and requirements (description, salary, timing, expectations, etc.)
      • Proactively source both passive prospects and interested candidates, through diverse avenues (job postings, online search, ATS mining, personal networks, etc)
      • Be responsible for full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to extending offers and everything in between (interview scheduling, skills evaluations, reference and background checks)
      • Train, educate, and drive everyone at MM to help find the best talent, continuing to build a culture of recruiting
      • Research and implement a new ATS
      • Hold weekly updates with CEO, providing status updates
      • Contribute to the candidate experience, not only guiding each candidate through the process, but also provide continual recommendations for improvements
      • Have a strong attention to detail and process orientation
      • Demonstrate professionalism and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
      • Be highly focused on job priorities and stakeholder needs
      • Have expert time management and multi-tasking skills

      As the Business Owner of Talent X, you will:

      • Build a growing company
      • Have an opinion and craft a Strategy for leveraging digital Marketing in the Recruitment Space
      • Ideally have the ability to execute on your own Hiring Campaigns through Marketo or other Marketing Automation Platforms.
      • You understand and can own items like: P&L Statement, Resourcing Forecast, Brand Evangelism,
      • You understand and can own omni-channel hiring strategies
      • Can build the CEO a dashboard where your metrics tell your story
      • You like people and they respect you
      • You like people and you inspire them
      • You like people and you can lead them


      • 5-7 years’ experience in recruiting for Marketing Roles
      • Minimum 1 year experience in recruiting for Marketing Automation Roles
      • Minimum 1 year experience in recruiting for Consulting Roles
      • Accomplished at being looked to for recruiting insight of best practices, and implementing effectively
      • Consultative approach to recruiting, offering scalable solutions, with proven success in hiring right
      • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
      • Savvy negotiator. Leaned on by Hiring Managers for skills in negotiating for the company
      • Knowledge of employment law and hiring practices
      • A great listener, in tune with our teams and people’s needs.
      • Highly organized with great attention to detail and follow through
      • Excellent judgement in time management and determining priorities, with little direction
