      Demand Generation Manager, Newton, MA

       

      Job Description/Major Responsibilities

      • Develop and execute online customer acquisition utilizing account-based marketing techniques to drive significant customer and sales growth
      • Own strategy & execution of integrated multi-channel demand generation programs, including paid search, web and social advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), webinars, pay-per-lead, email, nurture campaigns, remarketing & website
      • Create and test campaigns iteratively to maximize conversion
      • Manage day-to-day lead operations to ensure quality lead flow, optimize lead follow-up, and data quality for reporting
      • Exhibit marketing automation expertise across marketing and sales with emphasis on initiatives and processes that support strong lead management, improved lead quality, enhanced data quality, lead nurturing, lead scoring, sales enablement, tools and templates in order to drive funnel stage improvements (MQL, SAL, Opportunities)
      • Partner with global marketing and external resources to create targeted messaging and content to support brand awareness and demand campaigns, i.e. content for our website, digital ads, landing pages, emails, video, sales collateral, interactive, etc
      • Manage & support in-person events including conference presence, field marketing activities, & executive events
      • Provide highly disciplined and organized project management and excellent communications across a cross functional team
      • Provide reporting and actively monitor and analyze the health of marketing contribution to the sales pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity
      • Partner with marketing operations to drive marketing database strategy, including analyzing gaps in data, contact acquisition strategy, data enrichment, practices that ensure data quality, measuring database health, defining data required to perform desired analyses and participate in the development of data processes to deliver required data

        Requirements: 

      • B.A./B.S. in Marketing or related field
      • 5+ years marketing experience and 3 years+ of experience in developing and executing successful demand generation programs, delivering growth and increasing ROI
      • Experience managing budgets and process
      • Strong familiarity with marketing automation software (strong preference for Marketo)
      • Experience using and tracking leads in Salesforce.com and analyzing data
      • Proven experience in a wide variety of inbound/outbound marketing disciplines, including social media (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn), paid and organic search, advertising, retargeting, email, direct and event marketing
      • Effective experience managing lead nurturing and lead scoring, list management, segmentation, targeting, de-duplication and cleansing
      • Industry knowledge of K12 and EdTech is a valuable asset
      • Experience supporting B2B, enterprise and/or SaaS based sales required
      • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently
      • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to think strategically and execute strategic action
      • Exceptional command of the English language including verbal and written communications skills
      • Excellent leader, team-player and self-motivator with the ability to get the job done
