We are conducting an update your profile program for some of our dormant leads and we would like to take this opportunity to mark some of the hard bounces in Marketo where "Email invalid = True" as "No long with company = true" in SFDC.
The strange thing is that the report came back with very low counts and sometimes 0 Hardbounces. The sample size for the profile campaign is about 40K and these are dormant leads. In most cases we would usually get a 1% hard bounce but we get zero!
Does anyone in the community have a remedy on these?
I would create a smart list of those who had the email bounce opposed to the Email Invalid being true. You can analyze the list further to see how many emails have bounced to help alleiviate any hesitations.
