we have a lead that has failed to sync to SFDC due to state name. The state name is Nuevo Leon but in our SFDC (and i think this is the correct way) it shows as Nuevo León . my is question does marketo except the special "o"?
You can test this easily yourself.
Yes, accented ASCII is of course supported in Marketo, as is the (much) wider Unicode set.
How did this value get into the system? If SFDC doesn't match it against a picklist, examine your import/form fields.
Sanford Whiteman: we have been facing this issue, Kühne from salesforce will be sync back as a K�hne and then next time it sync it back to Salesforce it overwrites with � version of it. Could you please guide us on what we are missing here?
