In my company, we just got a new marketo instance. So, finding it difficult to understand how to leverage marketo report or salesforce integration in terms of ROI of campaigns.
I think the first step will be to start using the SFDC campaign sync. This will allow you to match all your Marketo programs with campaigns in Salesforce. You can then report on ROI of campaigns and channels. You will also be able to see how many opportunities were influenced by programs/campaigns and you can channel statuses to track success for each initiative.
