    B2B Marketing Specialist with Marketo Experience (3-4 years)

      Amber Road, a leading provider of global trade management solutions, is looking for an experienced Marketo user to join their NA Marketing team in their McLean, VA office, right outside Washington, DC.


      The Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving increased engagement and growing the sales pipeline through automated digital and off-line demand gen campaigns. As a member of the North American Marketing Team, you will collaborate with multiple areas of the company including sales, product marketing and product management.


      Key Responsibilities include:

      • Working closely with the Marketing Operations Manager and marketing team, you will build and optimize digital campaigns for email marketing, event promotion, lead nurturing, and content promotion. This includes campaign setup, smart list development, automated lead nurture setup and optimization, building triggers, and program analytics.
      • Work with product management, sales, content, customer success, and business development to develop lead generation concepts to support solution-specific campaigns

      • Staff and help manage trade show events logistics and promotions including pre-event planning and logistics, on-site coordination, budget management and post-event lead and communication management, advertising and other sponsorship opportunities

      • Post thought leadership content on company blogs and social media sites to help establish our voice as an industry leader and drive traffic to gated content

      • Assist with the development of content marketing campaigns and syndication initiatives

      • Help with database administration including customer and contact targeting, campaign set up in Salesforce.com and Marketo, list sourcing, and database scrubbing

      • Assist with optimizing company website content, including working with SEO agency for design and SEO/SEM strategies

      • Help sales team prepare RFPs from prospective customers

      • Deliver marketing reporting, dashboards and analysis on campaign performance, conversions, attribution and effectiveness



      • BA / BS in Marketing
      • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience working with Marketo or another marketing automation platform

      • Strong experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM 

      • Demonstrated analytical approach, understanding of core marketing and pipeline metrics

      • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

      • Flexibility to quickly adapt and align with business needs

      • Enterprise SaaS marketing experience is a major plus

      • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects with flawless execution

      • Possess a high degree of initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
