    Why are tokens in draft working different than on approved emails?

      In a draft email, when I send a sample, the token shows an entirely different value than when I send the same email using the same contact from the Folder.


      To explain again, if I open the email as draft, and use the drop down menu to Send Sample, the token (a date token) shows up as one date when I receive the email.

      When I approve the draft email and use the context menu (right click) on the folder on the left navigation panel (in marketing activities), the date is entirely different.


      The token is defined at the smart campaign level for both.  Everything in between is just a folder.


      The landing page for the data is showing the same value as the context menu Send Sample email does.


      What's going on?


      Edit: actually the landing page was a different problem.
