      Job Description
      The Vice President – Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy to support these company goals:  (1) new customer acquisition, revenue and revenue growth; (2) install base revenue, adoption and customer satisfaction; and (3) brand awareness as a leader in our markets and a destination employer locally.  The Vice President – Marketing is an integral part of the executive management team and reports to the CEO.
      In this role, you will lead the marketing team to achieve your goals.  You will also collaborate closely with the sales and services teams to help them meet their goals.  Finally, you will work closely with the product development team to ensure that product enhancements support our company goals. 
      Primary Duties
      ·         Develop and execute the marketing strategy to support the company’s goals regarding revenue growth, install base adoption, and e-Builder’s brand as a thought leader and an employer of choice. 
      ·         Define the appropriate marketing department size and make-up to achieve the company goals and then hire, on-board, coach and lead your team to meet these goals. 
      ·         Act as a spokesperson and represent the company at industry events and when needed with industry influencers, press, and analysts.
      ·         Direct market research and competitive analysis to determine current and future revenue growth opportunities and marketing strategies to support the company’s goals.
      ·         Direct all content development to provide material that can be used across multiple channels (print, digital, social) and that supports the sales and marketing goals.
      ·         Define and direct marketing programs for new customer lead generation including:
      o    SEO and SEM strategies to achieve paid and organic site traffic targets.
      o    Website conversion from anonymous traffic to engaged prospects.
      o    Lead nurturing and other direct email and mail programs.
      o    Trade shows and other industry events.
      o    Company sponsored events (e.g., executive summits).
      o    Print and digital advertising.
      ·         Define and direct marketing programs for existing customer revenue and adoption including:
      o    In product (i.e., e-Builder) marketing programs.
      o    Lead nurturing and other direct email and mail programs.
      o    Company sponsored events (e.g., User Conference and client summits).
      ·         Define and direct marketing programs to promote the e-Builder brand including:
      o    PR channels including press releases, press coverage, speaking, awards and social media.
      o    Participate in job fairs and other local community activities.
      ·         Develop and maintain tools that support the sales and marketing process while promoting the brand including (1) corporate website; (2) sales collateral; (3) sales tools (emails, presentations, etc.)
      ·         Direct all product marketing management including (1) overall product strategy to support company goals; (2) packaging; (3) pricing; (4) market positioning; (5) go to market strategy; (6) market messaging; and (7) sales training. 
      ·         Develop metrics and success criteria to assess the impact of all marketing programs and activities.  Use data to show progress and to continuously improve results and productivity.
      ·         Develop the Company’s marketing budget and be accountable to manage the department to it.
      ·         Ability to think strategically but also roll up your sleeves and get things done.
      ·         Demonstrated process oriented mindset and approach to marketing.
      ·         Demonstrated strong analytical mindset and capability.
      ·         Specific Marketing Experience
      o    10+ years of software marketing experience to the enterprise (B2B).
      o    High dollar product with a long sales cycle and complex sales process.
      o    Product in the early stages of adoption (i.e., visionary, early adopter).
      o    Disruptive marketing experience – “changing how people think.”
      o    SaaS or cloud software is preferred. 
      o    Experience working with CRM and marketing automation systems.
      ·         Strong written communication skills.
      ·         Excellent people leadership and management skills. 5+ years as a manager.
      ·         Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
      ·         Travel as needed (North America and elsewhere) to achieve the goals.
