New fields synced from CRM not appearing in Lead Detail

Not sure if this is yet another issue with the native sync, but we're finding that when we either add new fields in CRM (or even existing fields that have never been synced before) and activate them via the sync in Marketo, that those fields are not available within the Lead Detail record and thus not available as attributes for smart list filters.  They do appear in Field Management however.  I have a ticket open with Support but I suspect they're going to come back with the common response lately that we'll need to do a manual re-sync of the LEAD and CONTACT entities. 


Are any of you experiencing similar sync issues?
