    update contact record

      I recently saw this error message.  I don't quite understand what this means.  Doesn't Marketo update Contact/Lead if it finds there's an existing Contact or Lead record?


      Failed: UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION: You may be creating a lead where a contact and account already exist. We recommend you use an existing record instead.


      I tried to determine what caused the fail.  The only thing I can think of was we created a different record type for Partners and this Contact was happened to be a Partner.  Would Marketo update contact record for different Account Record Type?  Or is this error message telling something else?
