Not sure how theirs could be "better", as the standard integration was super easy to set up and is working as intended. Sounds like sales tactic if anything.

Pieter Leeflang Dec 27, 2016 12:17 PM (in response to dffc92e872b14191ab61c0ee64bfe961cd00e946)I figured as much, We had a meeting last week and I asked them straight up and they told me nothing is different just that they make sure its set up right. Anyway another side of the business already paid for them to do it before I was notified so I'm going to spend my time somewhere else.

Apologies for the misunderstanding on the Vidyard + Marketo integration. As Jeffrey mentioned, the current integration is definitely seamless. We wanted to make sure our clients are aware of the improvements that Vidyard or any other technology partners are making with their integration. We are currently a beta tester in Vidyard's new integration . This new integration retains all the features of the previous integration and improves on them.
With the current integration, the Vidyard activity comes into MKTO as "Webpage Visit" where any video attributes are passed thru query parameters.
With the new integration, there will be custom activity "Vidyard Video View" where the video attributes will be available in a more structured format and in a separate activity.

Is this not using the REST API Custom Activities endpoint?
