I'd love to get information on best practices for forms within Marketo. How many fields is too many and which fields drive the most value for software companies? Any information you could share would be great!
The only field you need is email address. Everything beyond that is an AB test and should be determined by the value of what you are providing. With so many great data append services there really is not a need for too many fields especially if your software is B2B. I would suggest asking questions around how you are segmenting your database (e.g. role, industry, function, etc.)
