The Audience Analyst will be responsible for providing actionable insight in support of HIMSS’ global sales and marketing efforts to optimize its go-to market strategy for its diverse products and services portfolio. The Audience Analyst is responsible for all aspects of audience behavior and marketing analysis, measuring marketing ROI, benchmarking and KPI measurement, campaign performance and building/maintaining marketing dashboards that provide visibility in overall marketing performance.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Design and deliver ongoing analysis to provide marketing, sales and key business stakeholders with insights to make smart decisions based on data and not assumptions.
      • Perform and oversee marketing campaign and channel analysis.
      • Develop marketing dashboards, reports, and visualization that track key performance indicators and calculate return on investment for presentations to teammates and marketing teams, as well as the senior leadership team. These reports should help accurately forecast marketing and business results.
      • Design, manage, and deliver solution and segment analyses, such as customer profiling, segmentation studies, post-program measurement, and other ad-hoc projects.
      • Perform data mining and statistical analysis to produce insights that drive data-driven content and marketing campaigns. Translate data into meaningful strategic and tactical recommendations based on these analyses.
      • Manage, analyze and report key marketing metrics via both manual and automated metric collection methods.
      • Create scalable, innovative approaches to extracting, managing and analyzing customer data to solve challenging business problems identified and not identified.
      • Define a comprehensive measurement framework and drive corresponding reporting and analysis recommendations and education with internal stakeholders
      • Perform other related duties as required or assigned that contribute to the effectiveness of the department and to accomplish strategic goals and objectives.

       

      Desired Skills and Experience

      • Strong analytical mind and curiosity. Are skilled at digging into data to assess results and cull key takeaways to leverage for continuous optimization.
      • Strong analytical competencies such as ability to formulate an analytical problem; QC data and results; summarize key findings/insights; make actionable recommendations.
      • Excellent organizational and project management skills, strong attention to detail and can skillfully manage several complex projects with multiple moving parts.
      • Excellent presentation skills and comfortable telling stories using data to bring up new opportunities or best practices to improve operations and growth.
      • Previous experience working in B2B Media company.
      • Marketo or marketing automation platform experience required
