I am not sure 100%, Try to run an Email Link Performance Report. From the "Setup" tab in the Report, select the email you'd like to investigate. This will show you which links were clicked on & you should be able to see the answer there.

Thanks Juan. I figured out the issue. And no, unsubscribe clicks are not considered normal clicks when evaluating A/B tests. The issue is that we didn't include the URL parameters as part of the "clicks link" trigger in the smart list. For the "Clicks link in Email" trigger (and filter), you must include the FULL URL, rather than just the base URL.
