The Marketing and Communications department at Klarna works tirelessly to ensure simple online purchasing all over the world. Sometimes this includes expressing our ideas of a smoooth payment process in the form of never-ending cheese. However, when it comes to identifying prospective merchants, as well as helping our existing merchants to grow, another form of approach and communication is often needed. Our merchants are our partners, our allies, and securing a successful interaction with them is one of the most important tasks of our Marketing function. In order to achieve this we are now looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join our B2B marketing team in Stockholm.
What you will be doing
Our marketing automation specialist is the manager of our platform (Marketo). You will be responsible for creating best practice and ensuring that marketing programs are contributing to the merchant pipeline and trackable revenue. Working side by side with our Acquisition Manager to map the right content to the right channel in the buying cycle, you will ensure conversion across the entire merchant journey from lead to live.
Your responsibilities will include growing new leads, and ensuring they go live. You will have previously worked with converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content. By optimizing our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels you will contribute to the bottom line of Klarnas success in all of our 18 markets around the globe.
Additionally we will want you to establish closed-loop reporting on marketing activities with sales to understand how our activities turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers. You will regularly monitor and maintain synchronization between Marketo and our CRM system (Salesforce), and work closely with our lead generation tools to trigger campaigns based off real time data points.
Who you are
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to transfer marketing strategies into effective marketing automation programs. You believe traditional start and stop campaigns are dead - and you also believe that effective marketing programs are always active and available constantly.
You have in depth understanding of customer journeys and you continuously think about how you can improve customer onboarding, nurture and growth. You back your insights up with data - always considering the most efficient way of acquiring new customers.
You tasks will include both operational and strategic aspects, highlighting the importance of a diverse skillset and when we talk to your references they will call you “an expert in your field”. You know the ins and outs of how to build and maintain an “always on-concept” and you are passionate about improving they way things get done. As people from all over the company will come to you for help and advice, you have an approachable personality and are willing to share your knowledge and educate those around you about your domain.
