Custom Interesting Moments

I've been searching around Community for some info about interesting moments and I found this thread which seems to be out of date and that doesn't have much love so I'm hoping someone can help me out.

I'm trying to build an interesting moment for a few advertising programs we built out. To get into the ad program, people don't need to fill out forms, there are other triggers based off of UTM content and page views that add them to a program. My question is: am I able to create a custom type of Interesting Moment that just has the name of the program they are a member of? Ideally I could trigger the interesting moment off of "Program Status Was Changed' or something like that.

I've been digging around and I'm just not quite sure what other people are doing for things like this. If anybody has advice on custom interesting moments or any other solutions that might be viable instead of interesting moments, I'm all ears.

Re: Custom Interesting Moments

Hi Rachel,

Why would not the "Program status is changed" trigger work?

Then in the flow, you can create a interesting moment with choices that will refer to various smart lists to know what is the new status

Re: Custom Interesting Moments

Yeah, I was looking into that. What kind of Interesting Moment type would I choose? It's my understanding based off of this article that there are only specific tokens that work for specific triggers/interesting moment types.

I've never set up Interesting Moments before so I wasn't sure whether it would mess up the tokens or SFDC sync (a colleague set up ours when we were just getting started and we haven't revisited although we should). In one of the articles I read, people were saying that they were having problems with custom Interesting Moments syncing to SFDC.

Guess I don't really know until I try, though!

Re: Custom Interesting Moments

Yes, you should try

The list of tokens for interesting moments is here: Tokens for Interesting Moments - Marketo Docs - Product Docs

But none will work in the context of a "program status is changed" trigger.

Re: Custom Interesting Moments

I also just read your comment on the idea I posted above. Will build and see what happens.
