We're trying to implement a subscription management center. We have identified the categories we want and are trying to find the best approach. During our implementation, we were told that we could just build everything within Marketo. However, when looking at a few resources such as this one, Subscription Management Basics for Marketo - Marketing Rockstar Guides, it recommends building the fields in Salesforce and then creating campaigns for member opt in/opt out statuses.
Is there a pro/con to building it in Marketo with programs? Can anyone walk me through what the steps would be for that?
