    Email Marketing Position in Charlottesville, VA

      Job summary and objectives
      The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of the company’s email marketing and related efforts to drive sales leads and customer retention. The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for management of the Marketo lead automation platform and email database. He/she will manage the migration to this full marketing automation platform and take full advantage of its capabilities to drive lead interest. He/she must work effectively with Marketing Directors, designers and developers to drive business results.
       
      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
       
      1)    Collaborates with Marketing Directors to develop and execute email strategy and ops for promo, trigger, lead nurture, and related email campaigns including creative, testing, deployment and analysis.
      2)    Works cross-functionally to plan, source and finalize content for campaigns.
      3)    Works with Marketing Directors and designers to develop and execute landing pages and forms in Marketo including creative, testing, deployment and analysis.
      4)    Manages email/marketing automation platform and vendor.
      5)    Provides strategic analytics for campaign performance and campaign optimization.
      6)    Manages internal email database, external list purchases and works with technology to ensure data sync with sales platform (CRM).
      7)    Works with digital team members to ensure that campaigns and programs are delivered on time, on budget and meet target goals.
      8)    Assists on other projects as needed.
       
      QUALIFICATIONS 
      1)    Bachelor’s degree required.
      2)    4+ years email marketing experience building complex campaigns and tracking in enterprise/sales environment.
      3)    Ability to design, build, test and execute email including working knowledge of HTML.
      4)    An understanding of responsive design for mobile platform optimization.
      5)    High level of expertise with Marketo or similar marketing automation platform. Marketo Specialist Certification highly desirable.
      6)    3+ years of list management and segmentation experience.
      7)    Excellent project management skills: organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to manage deadlines. Determine highest priorities.
      8)    Excellent analytics/analysis skills with ability to measure ROI of digital initiatives.
      9)    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a high degree of self-management. 
      10) Knowledge of industry best practices and current trends.
