We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Lead to be responsible for leading and executing all digital marketing aspects for CU Direct’s marketing strategy including: SEO, social media, marketing automation tools, email marketing, databases and the resulting analytics. The principle responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Web Conversions
    • Analyze company’s websites for improvements and devise strategies to increase site traffic, awareness and lead generation.
    • Track and assess website conversion rates and drive changes to website and landing pages to improve performance.
    • Identify and implement methods to improve organic search rankings.
    • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals.
    • On page optimization and content editing including call-to-action statements, headlines, meta tags, page titles, alt tags and description.
    • Ongoing monitoring and optimization to increase web conversations, including but not limited to demo, whitepaper and webcast requests.
    • Assist graphic designer with making web edits through the content management system.
  • Social Media Engagement and Growth
    • Create and execute an innovative social media program that attracts and captures clients and prospects.
    • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs.  Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of activities in an effort to maximize results.
    • Work closely with product and sales teams across the organization to develop and post content to social networking sites.
  • Lead Marketing Automation, Database & Analytics
    • Develop best-in-class strategies and frameworks for each of the email segments with the ultimate goal of increasing client acquisition and retention metrics.
    • Develop creative briefs for email and other online campaigns.
    • Work with the internal marketing team and/or third party resource to develop appropriate digital collateral (email templates, landing pages, etc.).
    • Collaborate with team members to develop and integrate effective cross-channel strategies across complementary marketing channels.
    • Manage, assess and report analytics data for all digital marketing.
    • Provide regularly scheduled reporting and monthly presentations to management.
    • Operational lead for marketing automation system, including organization, reporting, technical issues & ongoing administration.
    • Maintain and manage marketing databases, make recommendations for improvements and coordinate database changes across departments.
    • Lead meeting discussions for assigned areas.  Provide back-up support to marketing department staff as needed and support other staff members as needed.
Position Requirements

At a minimum, each candidate should possess the following skills, experience and background:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience in a related area is preferred
  • Experience with web analytics software such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with website content management tools and programs such as Drupal or Word Press
  • Experience and/or technical aptitude to work with email marketing automation systems
  • Experience in the current digital marketing environment
  • Experience in database analytics
  • Excellent computer/PC background with in-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, excellent communication (verbal and written), and strong project management skills are required
  • The ability to liaise with internal teams and outside vendors
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assigned project deadlines in a timely manner
