- Check that you are displaying in the smart lists the very same fields than the ones you are using in the forms. You can change the list of fields being displayed by the smart list with the "View" button, à the top left of the smart list
- Make sure that some of your fields are not read-only. That may happen for 2 reasons :
- Fields are being set to "Block update" for form entry. This is done in the admin->field management, then select the field. YOU will see on the layout if the field is blocked. You can change the setting with "field actions" -> block field update
- You are trying to enter data on "company " field for Marketo leads that sync with a contact in you CRM. Marketo cannot update CRM accounts, so when an update occurs, The account values from the CRM are being pushed back to the fields.
Hey Shanu, Greg has given some great suggestions here. One final thing that I'd suggest checking is that you have the correct fields in use in your forms. It's similar to Greg's first suggestion, but definitely check in both the smart list and the actual forms.
Hi Greg and Dory,
Thanks for your response. Yes adding the same fields used in the form in the smartlist leads view helped.
Also, I noticed smart lists are taking little longer to populate some leads, but they are coming through.
