If I add a member status option under Channels in Admin, will that change member status for any existing program members?
Or, will it only apply to all members imported after member status is added?
Adding a new status to a channel will not change anything for leads currently in that channel. You can change them to that status afterward though.
One thing to note while editing channels is that you should never copy/paste values between boxes. That can cause some weird behavior and statuses getting switched around.
