    Marketing Operations Manager based in Raleigh, NC

      Summary

      ChannelAdvisor is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join the corporate marketing team and serve ChannelAdvisor global regions. This individual will be responsible for ChannelAdvisor’s marketing automation strategy, managing the scope and workflow, overseeing the execution and measuring and analyzing results.

       

      We’re looking for a strategically minded individual who is driven by analytics and making performance-based decisions to improve the success of our marketing operations. The ideal candidate must have Marketo and Salesforce experience.

       

      Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Manage and maintain ChannelAdvisor's marketing automation platform (Marketo):
        • Serve as the primary liaison with Marketo
        • Keep current on product releases and features, implementing as appropriate
      • Implement best practices and protocol; train global Marketo users
      • Maintain detailed documentation on our internal training Google Site
      • Continuously scrutinize and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance
      • Provide technical support for the building of sponsored activities within Marketo, as well as logistical pre & post-event support for webinars and tradeshows
      • Manage the integration between Marketo and the ChannelAdvisor website
      • Provide troubleshooting as necessary for global Marketo users
      • Oversee the creation, execution and testing of automated marketing campaigns targeting ChannelAdvisor’s many audiences at various stages of the marketing funnel, including:
        • Lead nurture programs
        • Behavioral based automation
        • Engagement campaigns
        • Lead scoring
      • Own and manage the marketing database; implement data quality processes and data hygiene workflows for clean lists; upload new lists; ensure proper data hygiene and synching with Salesforce data
      • Own and develop the analytics function for marketing; Build data models, dashboards and ongoing data analysis to track the efficacy and ROI of ChannelAdvisor’s marketing programs; use results to provide recommendations for improvement and new programs to build the sales pipeline
      • Deliver quarterly summary of the success of our demand generation program based on marketing goals, and include suggestions for improvement; present to internal parties as necessary

      Requirements:

      • 3-5+ years of experience working with Marketo required, Marketo certification preferred
      • 3-5+ years of experience working with Salesforce
      • Proficient with HTML & CSS
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
      • Motivated self-starter that requires limited supervision
      • An analytical approach and drive to attain and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs)
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with peers as well as management
      • Experience in B2B marketing and/or e-commerce preferred

      Education

      • BS or BA degree in related field preferred
