      The Marketing Automation Specialist will build and execute marketing programs across the customer lifecycle. The Marketing Automation Specialist will work with marketing program owners to plan, create, and execute campaigns to drive Marketing KPIs, including customer engagement, demand conversion and retention. In addition to writing and building emails you will also be responsible for managing email segmentation, technology implementations, and email delivery and acquisition efforts. The Marketing Automation Specialist will report to the Manager of Marketing Operations, and work closely with the Marketing Operation team, Content Team, Customer Marketing and more.

      Primary Areas of Responsibility

      • Build email marketing assets in our Marketing Automation System, Marketo
      • Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends
      • Develop and launch email marketing nurturing and one-off email marketing campaigns
      • Develop compelling campaigns that will engage readers and drive meaningful results
      • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of our email sends
      • Perform email A/B testing in an effort to continually improve email performance
      • Manage an email marketing calendar
      • Build and execute strategy for reaching monthly and quarterly engagement and Sales lead targets
      • Develop and implement reporting programs in marketing automation and CRM platforms
      • With a passion for innovation, keep on top of current marketing best practices and implement them to improve campaign performance

      Qualifications and Requirements

      • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
      • 3-5 years of marketing or directly related experience
      • Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and web analytics
      • Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as Sender Score, deliverability, and sender reputation
      • Proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation technology, Marketo experience a plus
      • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization
      • Excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form).
