Looking for some advice on webinar vendors. Who do you like? Who don't you like?
We are targeting 150+ attendees to start so I'm looking for a tool that will can handle a larger audience.
Thanks for the feedback!
I don't have experience with Marketo integrated webinar systems outside of ReadyTalk, but here's my review of them. We use ReadyTalk for both group product demos and for our training classes for our product (not hosted by marketing). The integration works very well and has never had any problems. It's super easy to set up as well, from both the Marketo side and the ReadyTalk side. The bad part with ReadyTalk is that it can get pricier as you add more registrants, so it might not be the best choice for your team. I've also had issues because ReadyTalk has a HORRID product problem where the slides have to be the same across all of your meetings, so when we use the same account for different product classes it can get a little messy and rushed. I've actually been exploring the GoTo Meeting integration instead so I'd love to hear feedback on others experience with them.
Using GotoWebinar and generally works well with Marketo integration. It doesn't capture any additional data fields (engagement etc) so it is just a Attended status and if you want to push Poll response or Questions it has to be done through a Custom Field (messy). Looking into ON24 but costly and optimized more for Video. Are you pushing out the standard slide and audio webinar?
We use GoToWebinar. The integration with Marketo works well, the software itself is a bit suspect. I always have a really hard time getting the recordings to convert to an acceptable format and I tend to have audio/visual syncing issues. We also had a GoToWebinar outage during one of our webinars once, which was super annoying! Sadly, I've yet to find anything better. ON24 is crazy expensive (I think it starts at 15K a year, even for small companies). I have heard good things about ReadyTalk, but haven't tried it yet.
I've used ON24, Webex and GoToWebinar and the integration is about the same for those 3 vendors. I would say if those vendors are on your list it will come down to budget and your preference for the tool. I liked GoToWebinar for smaller events and Webex for large events. I've only used ON24 with a full support team assisting the webinar so it was easy but not as intuitive as the Webex/GoToWebinar.
DIdn't get a chance to say thanks for advice here. We ended up going with GoToWebinar, and are actually using a cheap tool called Screen-O-Matic to record and produce an MP4 of the presentation. We wanted to produce a video that had the faces of the presenters as opposed to just a slide deck. We've had really good feedback so far, and it's help to really up the quality of content for the recording. I highly recommend giving this combo a try!
This is a neat idea! Can I see a sample? I might steal it for training videos.
For anyone still looking for webinar software that plays well with Marketo, I'd recommend taking a look at ReadyTalk. We've been using them for months after suffering from technical issues with GoToWebinar and the price tag of ON24. They seem to be more reliable and reasonably priced compared to the others!
