Could it be a discrepancy between total clicks and unique clicks?

This is a well known issue. Please do a search for the cause.
If I recall correctly it is something similar to how the data is pulled:
- smart list looks at # of leads that clicked at least X times on a link.
- Email Performance looks at time frame as well as any Smart List restrictions. It may also change depending on leads removed from the database.
- Unique clicks may be an issue, or sort of related. You cannot get this directly anyway.
