      Responsibilities

      Leonardo’s Marketing Operations Specialist has primary responsibility for the ownership and management of Leonardo’s marketing automation platform, Marketo, and will play an integral part in developing, executing and analyzing marketing automation initiatives. In addition, this individual will assist in managing our company’s web properties and web marketing-related activities.

      This position will report directly to the Manager of Demand Generation and will work closely with the other members of the Marketing, Customer Experience and IT teams in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial and collegial environment.

      Specific responsibilities include:

      • Marketing Automation      
        • Use Marketo to build and execute digital marketing campaigns including lead generation and nurturing programs. Activities include, but not limited to:           
          • Creation and management of program assets (emails, forms, landing pages, etc.) – this includes creating email content using HTML and CSS as needed
          • Campaign flow builds and lead routing
          • Subscription Center setup and maintenance
                    
        • Advise on best practices
        • Identify appropriate target contact groups and targeting strategies
        • Model and develop integrations and workflows within Marketo and across integrated environments such as Salesforce
             
      • Email Execution      
        • Use Marketo to build out email campaigns keeping in mind quality analysis and testing of campaigns prior to launch
        • Coordinate email campaigns and activities to ensure communications are sent on schedule and do not interfere with other ongoing programs and communications
             
      • Testing, Optimization and Analysis      
        • Analyze and optimize programs and campaigns – A/B testing to optimize performance
        • Report on campaign and asset performance and make recommendations on how to improve performance
             
      • Database Management      
        • Maintain Marketing’s contact database ensuring data accuracy and integrity
        • Segment and leverage the marketing database for efficient and effective program targeting
        • Implement procedures to improve data quality, acquired through form submissions and list building activities
             
      • Web Operations      
        • Oversee and maintain the company’s web and mobile web properties including leonardo.com and blog.leonardo.com
        • Update websites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding as required
        • Work closely with Multimedia Designer and IT Director to prevent and troubleshoot issues
        • Manage and implement SEO processes and tactics to improve organic search engine results for specified keywords to increase web traffic
             

      Required Skills/Experience

      • 2+ years of Marketing Operations experience programming, managing, customizing and launching marketing programs using an automated marketing solution like Marketo.
      • 2+ years of web development experience, preferably in an agency or corporate marketing driven environment
      • Hands-on-experience with Salesforce.com as a marketing or admin user; demonstrated understanding of CRM concepts such as lead management and lead routing
      • Previous experience managing and implementing email management, web analytics, CRM software and content for websites are a plus
      • Deep understanding of Marketing Automation, lead scoring and buyer personas
      • Solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and a good understanding of current web technologies, XHTML, and JavaScript – PHP is a plus
      • Strong Excel and Visio background; proficiency of Excel and Visio functions, and ability to manipulate/analyze campaign success data
      • Advanced knowledge of WordPress and Google Analytics
      • Strong project management skills with thorough approach to all work; a desire to go beyond minimum requirements
