    In "Flow" Action, do revenue stages go backwards?

      If a contact is further along in the revenue cycle, will a flow action (like "clicks link in email = engaged) overwrite the latter stage, like opportunity. We do not want this, we want flow actions to overwrite revenue stages unless there is a defined path. Is this the functionality?

          It can do this if you aren't careful.

          You want your flows to only include people in the previous stage who are going forward into the next stage. Even with a recycle transition, it should only bring in people from Stage 2 to Stage 3.

          Otherwise if Clicks Link in Email should push into Engaged, it would take someone from Opp back to Engaged.

          You really have to spend time defining the buckets and how a lead gets there.
