      Job Type: Full-Time


      Silver Peak Systems seeks a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist to support its worldwide email marketing, data and lead lifecycle operations. The qualified marketing candidate will work closely with the sales team to develop, deploy and manage outbound emails which trigger and nurture programs that utilize Marketo. The experienced candidate will support all online marketing platforms.  


      • Globally support demand and channel programs by executing outbound email marketing and nurture programs in Marketo.
      • Assist with marketing campaigns and operations to develop, implement and manage an email deliverability strategy and production.
      • Build test frameworks (A/B tests, deliverability and tracking) to continually improve campaign metrics like click-through and conversion rates.
      • Prioritize all execution requests and develop ways to increase team productivity and execution rates.
      • Oversee others’ work and the batching in Marketo.
      • Take an active role in driving and managing the data capture and maintenance strategy (i.e. web form and data hygiene), understand how to prioritize list pull activities including list scrubbing, importing and processing.
      • Develop and maintain reports that measure lead pipeline, opportunity pipeline and conversion rates.
      • Engage with sales operations to ensure audience segments, personas and lists are accurate for communication delivery and partner to create clear and detailed requirements for new list activities.


      • 4+ years’ experience in marketing automation, with at least 3 years of Marketo execution experience.
      • Certified on Marketo platforms and applications, with extensive knowledge of Marketo and experience creating and maintaining program templates.
      • Experience in CRM tools and reporting such as Salesforce.com
      • Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, experience is preferred.
      • Experience in developing metrics/analytics and creating solutions to increase conversions and improve business processes.
      • Knowledge of data capture and management strategies preferred (i.e. working with forms and managing data hygiene)
      • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively quality control test campaigns prior to launch. Strong sense of urgency and experience in deadline driven roles.
      • Exceptional team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Excellent problem solving skills with a flair for coming up with creative solutions to complex problems (“No detail is too small” attitude).
      • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and across organizations to achieve goals through influence.

       BA/BS in Business and preferable in Marketing.
