Job Description: DiscoverOrg is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to assist in the management and execution of its marketing operations, lead management and nurturing programs, campaign analysis and reporting, and creation and optimization of landing pages. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining and improving marketing automation efforts in a fast-paced environment – specifically in Marketo. As part of our highly collaborative team, this role will not only support the strategic focus of the marketing operations team, but also bring enthusiasm and new ideas to help grow the business and enhance the operational efficiency for the company.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of the marketing systems infrastructure, including the successful implementation, management and day-to-day administration of Marketo
Update and optimize existing operational flows within Marketo for improved lead processing, scoring, status updates and sales follow up
Deploy lead nurturing pathways for existing marketing programs – including event and webinar follow up, re-engagement program for recycled leads and further qualifying new prospects
Provide list segmentation and hygiene support for the Marketing Operations team
Create individual campaign landing pages and integrated forms for improved lead capture
Test and optimize campaign elements prior and during launch of campaigns for increased conversion rate
Monitor and analyze campaign performance during and post-launch, sharing insights across marketing teams
Build, manage and maintain reports within Marketo and Salesforce to track ROI and success metrics for every campaign
Required Skills:
Previous Marketo and Salesforce experience is a must. Power user of both platforms is preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing automation and operations, business process improvement, reporting and analysis or related roles, ideally within a technology company
Knowledge of marketing automation concepts and best practices.
Understanding of A/B testing and optimization for conversion
Excellent reporting skills with ability to not only gather the appropriate data, but also glean insight to improve the performance of marketing programs
Proven experience improving the operational efficiency of marketing teams
Working knowledge of marketing software integrations with marketing automation platforms
Basic level of HTML editing skills
Excellent writing and editing skills
Possess a strong attention to detail and quality control
Strategic thinker with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
