Another way is to have them update a Campaign Member Status in SFDC.
Alternatively, there could be a special status on the lead that triggers a success in Marketo.
Yeah we had talked about member status, but it's not ideal to go from the lead record into the campaign member list and change each one as they get ahold of them.
If we used a special status on the lead, what trigger would we use for success in Marketo?
We use: "SAL - Connected" as a Lead or Contact Status in SFDC, and I know they have connected successfully. I timestamp for that stage becasue it typically is moved quickly to SQL or Nurture/Unqualified (w/reason).
