      Marketing Automation/Email Marketing Manager

       
       
      OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
       
      ContactPoint is in a phase of significant growth and change.  The Marketing Automation Manager will develop and execute lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns to meet aggressive sales goals, driving revenue growth by nurturing leads down the sales funnel, and engaging the existing customer base. This position will be responsible for execution of demand generation programs that will drive qualified leads, expand customer touch points, and increase retention rates.
       
      This position reports to the Director of Demand Generation and will be located in Draper, UT. Remote for the right employee.
       
      Responsibilities:
      • Marketing Automation Tool:  Administer the marketing automation platform by managing email drip campaigns, lead scoring, and lead nurturing rules.  Develop set of best practices, document, educate and report results.
      • Campaign Design and Execution:  Responsible for planning and executing the best possible communications approach for each business unit and ensuring we maximize all channel opportunities.
      • Campaign Analysis: Track and report all campaign metrics to various business units and leverage that analysis to make recommendations and improvements on campaign performance.
      • Work collaboratively with the Demand Generation team to develop templates, lead scoring, progressive profiling, nurture and email marketing campaigns through the use of Marketo, Hubspot, or Pardot with the ultimate goal to increase response rates, engagement, and drive measurable pipeline.
      • Understand and implement all facets of marketing automation including database management, list segmentation, emails, campaign automation, social media, lead scoring, lifecycle management, landing pages, CRM integration, and reporting.
      • Support with contact segmentation in both marketing automation platform and CRM and, when needed, help with list enhancement and list building best practices.
      • Be the company marketing automation subject matter expert and advise/train on an on-going basis.
      • Apply industry data hygiene best practices to customer/prospect database.
      • Integrate third party data sources and embed components and/or services.
      • Execute marketing campaigns, including inbound and outbound campaign template design, creation of tracking rules and configurations, data mapping from various list sources, and performing reporting queries.
      • Manage mass email communications and strategy company-wide. You will own the tools and pull the trigger on the message.
      QUALIFICATIONS:  
      • #1 skill needed: Lead nurturing. The ability to nurture leads from inquiries to hand raisers, and from hand raisers to revenue
      • Experience with marketing programs in the high tech, SaaS, business intelligence, and/or computer software industries
      • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo. To you, the complexities of lead nurturing are brain candy
      • 5+ years working with CRMs and integrating marketing automation tools with CRMs
      • 3+ years of B2B email marketing
      • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, as well as Adobe Create Suite or other HTML editing tools
      • A pro in Excel. You pivot like a boss.
      • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for changes that have impact
      • Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices in email, content integration, and lead nurturing
      • Experience creating reports/dashboards/sales pipelines
      • Self-starter and ability to operate independently.
      • Demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
      • A sense of humor
      • You think landing page optimization is fun, A/B testing is cool, and think of new ways to analyze data while out on the weekend
      • Curious, capable and driven to quickly learn new technologies and continually upgrade current skill set. Not afraid to experiment and try new tactics
      • Ability to proactively identify opportunities for marketing operations optimization and quickly research and implement solutions
      • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
      • Demonstrated ability to create forms, programs, smart campaigns, smart lists, lead scoring, progressive profiling and reporting in Marketo or similar automation software
      • Comfortable and cozy with data, analytics, and analytics and optimization tools (GA, Optimizely, etc.)
      • Attention to detail, responsible, and reliable
