you can make it operational at the local asset level.
I would only do this if your email is considered Operational or has other exceptions to the rules.

Yes it does...wait...at least I think it does. It definitely bypasses the Unsubscribe and suspended, so be careful with your smart list.
Yes, it appears to do so. At least that's what I recall.
No, there isn't another way unless you completely remove the Admin > Email text, which would do that for all emails.
at least test it on yourself first!
You're right, Josh. Making an emaill operational does remove the unsubscribe text/link. Thank you for your help!
It won't remove it in all cases - only if you're using the system wide unsubscribe text that's found in Admin. If you're like us - where we have built custom footers as snippets, making an email operational will still include those footers.
