Coworker can't access Community

Is Community access determined by user role? I have a coworker that is a Standard User and can't access Community.
Could that be bc I just added her today?

I believe it should provide community access by default with that role.
The community is on a separate platform so it may bring over new users on a nightly batch or something similar.
If they are still having trouble tomorrow, I would check with support.
