Apply Here: http://goo.gl/B0HGAV The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the strategy and execution of email blast campaigns and trigger email programs. This person is responsible for creating persuasive programs that convert prospects into customers, as well as retain existing customers through campaigns that are relevant and timely. The email marketing Specialist is responsible for executing ways to build and maintain the email database as well as drive revenue through each campaign. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Build, execute and automate email marketing campaigns using Eloqua that are relevant to the recipient and maximize ROI
- Work with internal teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical execution for email campaigns such as blast and trigger email programs that include welcome, nurture, retention, cross-sell and upgrade programs.
- Segment and leverage the marketing database for efficient and effective campaign targeting.
- Create and update marketing campaign workflows as changes to business requirements dictate
- Generate and implement test strategies, including A/B multi-variant testing, to drive qualified traffic and revenue-building activities to ensure maximum profitability.
- Drive and manage email process – layout, content, messaging, review and segmentation, and list management for maximum revenue and profitability.
- Monitor, analyze and report on campaign performance to maximize ROI and sales.
- Continual development of marketing automation education & required participation in online communities to expand learning opportunities.
- Coordination with web team to ensure analytical tracking and performance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills - Strong HTML skills. Light CSS knowledge is a plus
- Experience with Eloqua and Marketo or other top tier email automation software
- Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple email campaigns
- Prioritization is a major skill set —we have many moving parts
- Ability to learn new technical systems and softwares
- Understanding of email and marketing best practices
- Must be able to succeed in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment where teamwork is a must
- Demonstrate successful project management and ability to successfully complete projects from initial brainstorm to email send
- Analytical background is a plus, however light knowledge of GA, email reporting and excel skills is a must.
