    Hiring: Marketing Manager to Lead Demand Generation for Fast-Growing Company London

      As Marketing Manager, you will manage the planning and execution of SCM World’s inbound and outbound demand generation programmes. You will lead an integrated campaign strategy that includes lead/demand generation, customer marketing, and nurturing programs, with responsibility and oversight for our Marketing Automation system (Marketo), lead and engagement scoring, reporting and analytics, and data quality.  

      The successful candidate will have a proven track record and competencies needed to ensure that our marketing and sales systems are being fully deployed to support the entire demand generation process, and that our programmes and analytics are optimised to support sales and account management efforts.

      Reporting directly to the CMO, you will be based in SCM World's headquarters located at No. 2 London Bridge and guide a team that includes our Digital Marketing Associate and Information Systems Project Manager, as well as work closely with key stakeholders in Sales and Account Management. Thus, strong interpersonal and problem solving skills are critical to the role.

      •           Primary responsibility for the Marketo marketing automation platform – acting as 'Marketo champion' to manage creation and execution of programmes, which include ensuring data quality and integration, building campaign flows, email creation, outbound landing page creation, form creation, digital advertising tracking, etc.
      •           Liaise with Information Systems Project Manager and Sales Support Manager on global contact strategy, segmentations for marketing database, and overall  database health by ensuring data cleanliness and completeness leveraging tools in Marketo, Salesforce & third-party providers (as needed).
      •           Work with internal teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical execution for email campaigns: including trigger and other types of email programs such as welcome, nurture/re-engagement, and retention communications.
      •           Launch and maintain blog subscription programme to engage target audiences, drive website traffic, and raise awareness of SCM World.
      •           Develop and execute a digital advertising strategy with key publications and advertising partners to drive blog subscriptions and website traffic, and deliver Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
      •           Manage, enhance and optimise the lead management process in Salesforce.com and Marketo, building processes and reports to ensure visibility and transparency for Marketing, Sales, and Account Management.
      •           Ensure best practice development, training and adoption across all demand generation programmes. Identify and drive on-going testing strategies to determine best approaches to generate results for SCM World's business/industry.
      •           Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance to maximize ROI.
      •           Leverage Marketo’s Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) tool to understand and drive performance across the entire buy cycle.

       What we’re looking for:

      Technical Qualifications

      •           3 to 5+ years in a Digital Marketing Operations or Demand Generation role, preferably in B2B
      •           Knowledge of industry best practices (inbound/outbound marketing, demand generation, etc.)
      •           Hands on experience with marketing automation tools (Marketo strongly preferred) and CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)
      •           Understands the big picture of the funnel, workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle
      •           Experience in creating and designing lead nurturing and lead scoring models
      •           Expertise in marketing analytics and reporting
      •           Web skills such as HTML a plus
      •           Must be able to provide email templates, workflow and reporting examples, or other samples demonstrating relevant experience
