Forms 2.0: Conditional field does not auto-populate

    Dan Stevens
We're using the new conditional logic to display a STATE or PROVINCE list of values if US or CA is selected.  Everything works fine except it doesn't auto-populate with the value that exists wtihin the database (if it exists).

The state field is a String field?

We added the value in the State. then use what need to be show in the condition

The state field is a select field with both states and provinces.  Here are the values:

Related to this, the functionality of conditional formatting within a fieldset is also janky. Creating visiblity rules for a fieldset based upon condition of field within fieldset does not work well. For instance, having a fieldset (that includes country, state and zip) show up only if one of those fields is empty doesn't work if any of those fields are conditional, since conditional fields do not prepopulate, hence the form always appears.

Furthermore, if conditions for a conditional fieldset are met....it immediately disappears, which is an odd experience for the user. What if some information was entered wrong, it disappears and the user can't correct it. For example a fieldset that includes country, state and zip and which is to be visibile if any of those fields are empty will immediately disappear once the fields are filled. It would be better for it to wait until the submit button is clicked before disappearing.

                Dan,

Were you able to find a resolution for this? I'm experiencing the same issue. Your advice is appreicated!

Ashley - this issue is now resolved for us.  I believe they fixed this a couple of weeks ago.
