    Marketing Automation Manager at Fortune 500 Company Insight

      I am searching for a Marketing Automation Manager at Insight, a Fortune 500 company and global technology reseller.

           The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for the overall design, quality assurance (QA), roadmap, maintenance, support and training for our Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo). This position will develop best practices and training and work with marketing managers across go-to-markets and verticals to develop, execute and analyze marketing programs, lead routing and ROI. The incumbent should have a deep knowledge of Marketo so the company can implement and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and help drive measurable contribution to pipeline and revenue. The Marketing Automation Manager must have a strong background in lead generation programs, email marketing best practices, inbound marketing, lead scoring, list segmentation, nurture campaigns, and experience contributing to marketing and sales alignment through continuous business process improvement. 


      •           Work collaboratively with marketing managers from each of the go-to-markets and verticals to develop marketing templates, lead scoring, progressive profiling, nurture and email marketing campaigns through the use of Marketo with the ultimate goal to increase response rates, engagement and drive measurable pipeline.
      •           Use Marketo to ensure proper data flow from the email assets, through the landing page and into the target database
      •           Understand and implement Marketo including list segmentation, emails, campaign automation, social media, landing pages and reporting.
      •           Continuously evaluate and suggest process improvements to expedite campaign production
      •           Maintain and optimize lead scoring programs
      •           Build nurture engagement program workflows in Marketo
      •           Create and maintain accurate and complete process documentation
      •           Best practice enabler to campaigns - support advisory services for optimizing campaign design, target segmentation & deployment
      •           Share best practices with regard to marketing automation capabilities, testing and projected results.
      •           Collaborate with the Analytics team to provide template reports that can be automatically delivered that show campaign effectiveness against industry standards both at the campaign, product line and aggregate levels.
      •           Support marketing managers in contact segmentation in both Marketo and CRM and, when needed, help with list enhancement and list building best practices.
      •           Provide regular reporting on Marketo utilization, campaign effectiveness, response rates and related marketing ROI metrics.
      •           Develop and consistently enforce best practices for the use of Marketo.
      •           Develop and maintain training materials and provide training on an on-going basis to ensure that everyone is using Marketo to its full potential.

      •           Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on marketing automation experience
      •           Extensive experience with Marketo, specifically emails, forms, landing pages, campaigns, lead scoring, progressive profiling, distribution lists, contact groups, and reporting
      •           Knowledge of best practices for email HTML coding
      •           Understanding of web development principles and web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
      •           Experience with Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML or other creative software
      •           Excellent time-management, organization and project management skills, with attention to detail from inception through execution
      •           Strong analytical and problem solving skills
      •           Excellent teamwork and communication skills
      •           Strong software aptitude and fast learner
      •           A team player who works well independently
      •           Strong writing, communication and collaboration skills
      •           Ability to think creatively about marketing testing techniques and options
      •           Strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving and analytical skills
      •           Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field or equivalent experience
      •           Location: Tempe, AZ (could be remote)
