our sales team was used to use a lot the Word "mail merge" functionality in order to do mass emailing... It seems that by doing so we can not record this activity in Marketo Sales insight even if the Marketo Add-in is set up in Outlook. Please let me know if anybody came accross this process and found a way to convince Sales Rep to your Marketo SAles Insight List views Thanks
But Mail merge doesn't actually send the email to the lead contact, does it? I thought it just uses a template designed by you and merges in the lead/contact/account details. Then it emails you the merged document and it is usually used for direct mail purposes beacuse otherwise you would just create an email template.
what do you use to actually email the leads? SFDC or outlook or something else?
