    Excluding own firm from showing up in Marketo Sales Insight

      Is there an easy to stop members of my own firms from showing up in the Maketo tab in SalesForce.

      Within in each campaign that shows an interesting moment I sure I could build this into each and every smart list to exclude ...

       However I'm looking for an easy cover all solution, so if they fill in a form or open an email nothing appears in the Marketo tab.

      Maybe there is a filter setting on the SalesForce side that might work.

      Any ideas are welcome.

          One way to make this easy is to use just a few "umbrella" interesting moments smart campaigns with tokens in the flow-steps that watch all of your programs. with this approach you are not building any workflow relates to Sales Insight as local assets in your programs...as far as the day-to-day programs, I always use to filter email address = not contains @domain.com to suppress Sales from the programs/reporting...

            I have used umbrella campaigns for scoring.  I wanted to be selective regarding which emails, forms, actions, that were considered  interesting moments.

            So yes, I take the point I can build up an unbrella program for interesting moments.

            I was hoping for something easy a nice little cover all filter that could be applied on the MKTO or SFDC side to deselect your own firm.

            Regarding the unmbrella program -  If for example I wanted to capture - click link in email you need to select the emails each time, so does the mean that this would require tweaking each and everytiime an email was created?

              Here is a link to the documentation on using tokens in Interesting Moments flow steps. this approach will dynamically populate the email name in the Lead Feed in  the Sales Insight/Marketo tab in Salesforce.

                Thanks for getting back to me.

                I actually have used these tokens to set up the Interesting Moments.  But my problem is before this stage.

                In the campaign  the SL - Interesting Moment - Type is Email
                Then I have created a SL for my firm so   - not in - SL - to deselect my firm - (Since there seems to no easy deselect solution)

                Then
                In the flow step add choice1  - Choice 1 - If: Clicked Link in Email  then is brings up an "is" - Then you need to select and retweak the selection.

                The default option seems to be just "Email" and the Tokens selection triggers.


                So after the 'is' are there other options? Rather than tweaking this everytime?? or am I over complicating the flow step.

                So it is right that as these tokens are trigger tokens, so if I keep the default rather than adding a choice, the tokens will trigger if and when.

                If this is so - how do you know why the interesting moment was triggered? And should you then add a lot more triggers in the desciption to cover all the bases opened, unsubscribed etc. .....
