Display registered on webinar landing page instead of form

If someone has registered for a webinar (ON24 Adapter) and then decides to revisit the page again would it be possible to remove the form and display a message saying they are registered for the event?

Re: Display registered on webinar landing page instead of form

Are you using a Marketo LP for this?

In theory, I believe you can do this using Dynamic Content, however, this would require a Segmentation based on a form fill out and program status. You can do that, but I'm not sure it would be very workable in practice.

Usually if they fill out the form again, Marketo won't do anything as long as the registration campaign is set to qualify a lead only once.

This should be a new feature, a radio button included on the Landing page (like the thank you page). You should suggest it as an idea.

As I understand it, this is a feature of Forms 2.0.  Scheduled for just over 2 weeks away.

Any current Champions care to share what they know about Forms 2.0? I am caught between getting my status back and I just left a Marketo partner so I'm out of the loop there too 🙂

Why do you say it would not be "workable" to do the dynamic content to replace the form. I'll test it out and see what happens. I know that if they are already registered it won't matter if they fill out the form again, I just would rather them see something else if they are going back to the page for reference.

Re: Display registered on webinar landing page instead of form

Okay so now I have a bigger issue. I can't seem to get any information to display based on segment. It's showing all my dynamic content all the time. I segmented the form by registered for program and had other content to display as the default (form).

Anyone run into this issue? I can't see what I'm doing wrong here.

Re: Display registered on webinar landing page instead of form

They have asked us not to share info pre-release, but I'd really love to save you a bunch of time & hassel spinning your wheels when some new features will be out in a week or two that will help. Below are some release notes about the feature discussed here.

The ability to replace a form on a page with custom HTML if a known lead revisits a page
  1. After a lead has already entered their information for a particular form on a page, you will have the ability to populate the area that the form resided in with custom HTML

As for your actual question, you say you made a segmentation for registration to a particular program. Did you make a segment for every program? Or will you only have certain ones? It's not that this solution isn't workable, it's unscalable over time.

Re: Display registered on webinar landing page instead of form

Adam, that sounds great. Do you know if they revisit the page it will still show the custom HTML content or show the form again?

With my segmentation I tried a few things. First time I created one segmentation with 2 options: Reigstered for program and specified the program. Then I had another and did Not registered and did Not in Program and specified which program I did not want them in.

The idea was if they were not registered, they would see the form and a rich text box. If they were registered they would not see the form and another message saying they had registered. Any ideas for completing that process?

Re: Display registered on webinar landing page instead of form

As I understand the release notes, it says if a lead fills out a form, then show them custom HTML on all subsequent follow ups. My recommendation is to wait until the January release to finish this project, it'll save you a lot of time & hassel.
