One suggestion would be to sync your Mkto program to SFDC as a campaign. Do you have a telemarketing type channel set up with progression statuses in Mkto? If you do, these statues will keep track of progress that you define yourself. Then, by syncing, a SFDC campaign is created that is available to be reported on and will track the Leads based one the progression statuses. You determine what qualifies for the status so you have complete control.
