    Data Normalization

      Does Marketo have the ability to recognize a company data field and apply that across the entire group of leads. For instance, if I get 10 names from company X, and they fill out the company data records like Revenues, address, etc,. Will Marketo then fill out those company data records across all of the individual leads with the same company name or same company email address?

          You can probably create a smart list for them based on email address contains "@xyz.com"

          Try that and let me know if it works.

            You could potentially set up a program that changes data values to match certain criteria and populate the additional company criteria you mentioned. However, Marketo does not do this automatically. You have to set up a program to do it.

              You would create a smart list as Jay suggests, then use that to trigger a campaign that says if Lead matches this Company (or variations of that company name), then Change Data Value of the fields XYZ to ABC.

              Test this thoroughly though to ensure you definitely are getting the right Company Name variations. Using email domain only may be a bit restrictive, but it will ensure accuracy.

                Do you use Salesforce as CRM? If the leads are tied to the same account, they will inherit the same company details. So when you create the account take the data from all the leads to create it. Afterwards attach all the leads to the account. You don't want this automatically as not all leads within an account will provide the same data (e.g. they might provide a different number for revenue).

                  Please try to use a tool like Demand tools, RingLead, or LeanData to do this. Automating this type of fuzzy logic in Marketo is a big waste of resources...and you may do it wrong and remove data.
