           The success of B2B Marketing programs is more dependent on Marketing technology than ever before. We’re looking for a Player/Coach who will be responsible for overseeing a Marketing Operations team that designs, implements and maintains marketing automation, demand generation processes and analytics for our global business.  The ideal individual will have a solid understanding of B2B Marketing processes & systems and strong project management, analytical, team-building and communication skills.
      Typical Day/Week Snapshot
      •           Direct Atlanta-based team of Marketing Automation Managers and of Marketing Research Associates located in our New Mumbai, India global delivery center
      •           Serve as the local marketing systems expert for:           
        •                     Marketo
        •                     Salesforce
        •                     Google Adwords
        •                     Google Analytics
        •                     SEO
        •                     WordPress
      •           Manage the set up and day-to-day activities in Marketo and Salesforce.com to develop and maintain in-house lists, nurturing programs and regular internal and external communications.
      •           Ensure we are appropriately leveraging the functionality available within Marketo & SFDC to meet business requirements
      •           Report on and analyze KPIs such as lead generation, pipeline impact and revenue by various marketing channels, geographic regions, product lines and timeframes.
      •           Identify, evaluate and scope process improvements for all our marketing systems and integrated applications
      •           Provide direction to the Marketing department and ensure the delivery of best practices for marketing processes and operational efficiency
      •           Partner with various teams, primarily internal marketing customers, to develop and execute campaigns that deliver on the organization's marketing and brand strategies
      •           Lead and execute special projects, providing project management leadership and logistics support (data gathering/aggregation, analysis, metrics, document/presentation editing and/or creation and program planning)
      •           Organize key alignment discussions related to multiple business units
      What it takes to be a Sherpa
      •           Player/coach with 8+ years overall business experience with an emphasis on marketing, marketing automation (specifically Marketo experience required), SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Adwords
      •           Management experience (5+ years) in a marketing role
      •           Strategic Thinker
      •           Strong understanding of CRM systems (specifically, Salesforce.com)
      •           Excellent analytical, organizational, troubleshooting & strong interpersonal skills
      •           Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      •           Experience working within cross-functional stakeholders and executives
      •           Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets, Google Docs preferred
      •           Must be very detail oriented, organized, self-motivated to follow through on requests (without requiring management follow-up), and perform professionally under pressure and with limited direction
      •           Ability to multi-task efficiently on parallel efforts
      •           Is proactive around business priorities and works with a sense of urgency
      •           Displays passion and excitement for serving customers
      •           Business knowledge of technology services is preferred
      •           Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience in a related field required
