With the sales alert, will each adviser get the email with the personal details (i.e tokens) relevant to their customer or will the sales alert be the template of the email?
Traditionally, an Alert will provide information about individual leads to the Lead Owner. So if you wanted to let an adviser know every time one of their leads/contacts fills out a form or clicks a link in an email, an alert would be the best way.
As far as letting the adviser know which emails a lead has received...if you have Marketo Sales Insight installed, he/she can view the Email tab to see the complete history of emails sent to that lead. However, if you are doing a big batch send with a lot of potential follow up, we send a "prelaunch" email to all lead owners letting them know what will be sent.
