Hello All, I have a question about design studio and images/files availability. When I clone a program from CORP in ItalyWS it happens I have to change/update/add some images (header for istance) and sometimes I would like to use images from corporate but the CORP space is empty. A very simple example: OVS press release launched by CORP in ENG needs to be launch in ITA locally; no header image in ITA available, I tried to change with another one it but it doesn' t fit, so how can I undo e DO NOT save my new image? and where can I find the original one - at least in ENG - to insert again on the header? is it possible to upload aimages on CORP space or they are too heavy to be storaged? Thanks Marina but I have another tricky case for you. The lead Roberto de Lorenzo (Kover- email roby@kover.it ) active contact, is already in SFDC as a contact (exactly the same information) but the SFDC field in marketo is empty... thanks stella

Hi Maylys, sorry to bother you again but I probably missed some steps... I updated my smart list following your filters- without insert active/inactive - but as you can see as example I have at least 3 leads already in SFDC (the email is the same) but the status is inactive. Notice that the field active(inactive in marketo is empty! Thanks a lot stella

Hi Marina, thanks for your explanation and thanks for the operational campaign! I need to clarify the issue "Note that contacts without any activity in the last 12 months will be deleted in Marketo"; what do you mean for any activity? spontaneus web activity or a direct involment by local marketing in marketo program? I suppose the second one but I would like to be sure. In this case I am not sure is a good idea: we have some job functions (for istance Employee/user) that we rarely involved in our actions but in some cases - launch of a new sw version - it may be useful to involve to present them the new features of the sw. Normally we launch a new verson per year, if Ithey disappera after 12 months I risk not to inform the users about the new version or I miss the opportunity to invite them in a roadshow/presentation. Hi all, I have a big issue to manage, I am afraid but there is a lack of synconisation between Marketo and SFDC when we put inactive leads in SFDC. It happens that lead made inactive in SFDC in June - for istance - are involved in marketo actions in september! It happens to someone else? I have the same problem for bounce management: see the lead below who is inside my list bounced back but he was put inactive in SFDC in July the 27 Thanks a lot Stella

Hi Ulrike, you can have the same problem - and more serious in my opinion - when a contact fill a form using the email of a colleague! For example, a contact registered himself and his boss using its own email address. You will see in SFDC that some changes happens and seeing the contact history you can track the changes too....you will probably have mixed information on the two leads (it happened to me!) Could be useful for you to check in ADMIN_Useful smart list your local list ADMIN_Data changes after filled out a forms ...enjoy! Stella

Hi Marina, I notice that inside the smart list there a lot of inactive contact both SFDC and Marketo, is is correct? I cannot add a filter in your smart list but seen that it seems to be a bad syncronization on this field (it happend to me several times not only in this case) could you please add it? or maybe could you please verify if it is normal? thanks a lot !! stella

Hi Marina, on this topic I have to understand better some points: - do I have to put the lead source for all the leads? Also for leads creted directly in SFDC (contacst) by account managers? and for leads imported in marketo from SFDC?... - how manage leads conveted in contacts (In SFDC the source is lead conversion in marketo is missing)? do I have to see each lead and follow its history in order to put the right source? If you see the example of Mr Salini was converted by the account manager from a lead managed by Elena who fill the form on line..., in this case the source will be sales" or "web contact" it's a great job considering 447 leads without source! - Education/schools: all of them are disqualified, are we interested on put the lead source? thanks a lot Stella

Dear marketo team, we had two registration for politecnico event: - Gilberto Frigerio (email gilberto@frigeriosalotti.it ) - alert received from marketo after the registration - Andrea Caselli (email gilberto@frigeriosalotti.it ) - alert received from marketo after the registration Gilberto Frigerio was already in SFDC as contact but now SFDC gives to the me the following information: it seems that marketo itself changed the contact last name but kept the email and other infos. Probably, Mr Frigerio registered himself and then mr Caselli form the same laptop and send the registration form from the same email, what do you think? It sounds credible? Now we have mixed information linked to Mr Caselli and we totally missed Mr Frigerio who is not anymore in SFDC and neither in marketo but he will attend to the event :-). Do I have to expect that if a contact registered 3 or 4 people from a generic email adress (info@.......com) SFDC and marketo will keep only the last registration? if so I think we have a problem... Thanks Margaux now it's clearer. In the Marina doc "how to qualify a lead" was written that "filled out form generates 50 pts" but was not specified if we were speaking about a form to gate a content, contact form or something else, specify that among "forms" there are some score differences is quite important. In any case it's quite funny that a lead totally unknown to us registered for an event but the account manager cannot see him....I can force the passage to SFDC but is not logical in my opinion. I confirm you that the name of the form for this event is "registration" but I am seriuosly think to change it next time with "content" so I can see my leads in marketo. have a nice day!
