If you are sending through your own Server, your server is going to have limitations for the number of emails you can send simultaneously. When sending through Tout, you have the ability to send many emails, but we will try to send them at the same time. If you are aware that your server is going to cut you off at 100 emails per minute, you will need to only send up to 100 emails through toutapp.com otherwise the emails can land here due to the emails being throttled by your server.

When you schedule an email in gmail it is supposed to save your email in the drafts folder until it sends. Nothing has gone wrong, but due to how we integrate with gmail this is a restriction of the scheduled emails that they have to stay in the drafts folder. After it hits the scheduled time, they will move from drafts to Sent. You can see the email has been scheduled within toutapp.com and it should also have the label Tout Scheduled Email. Alternatively you can schedule from toutapp.com and they won't show up in your drafts in gmail.

As a company, we work very hard to ensure that our deliverability rates remain high. Still, though, there are certain user behaviors and settings that can trigger emails being sent to the spam folder. Check Your Settings Custom Domain Tracking: This allows you to have all of your tracking links show up as go."yourdomain" instead of go.toutapp. Some email security will see that the email is coming from "yourdomain" but the link is being rerouted to go.toutapp. By implementing custom domain link tracking your emails will look legitmate and have a higher rate of hitting the recipients inbox. Email Delivery Channel: By default, your emails are sending through ToutApp servers. By setting up your own Gmail or custom SMTP you can give your emails the best opportunity to land in a recipient's inbox. Click here to read more about selecting the right delivery channel for your needs. Check Your Email Behaviors Keep your emails short and informal and paste your templates as an email you've written before. More tips here. Avoid overformatted emails, or messages where you're using transactional words. More info here. Make sure you have a fully completed email signature with a physical address. Read up and make sure you are complying with CAN-SPAM laws

Clicking into the email will give you more details about why the email bounced

Once this group is created and these contacts are added, you have two options when sending off this targeted group email: Email selected Using email selected, you can select the specific recipients in this group that you want to contact. This method also allows you to edit each email before it gets sent out. This method is recommended if you are looking to email around 15 recipients or less and would like to edit each email. From here, you can individually edit each of these emails and add specific content relevant to that recipient before this group email gets sent out. 2. Email Entire Group We also give you the option to send an email to everyone in this group and have this personalized information fill out for each recipient. This method is recommended when you are conducting those larger group sends. You will have to head into the group and select Email Entire Group. By doing so, this will pull in everyone in this group for you to email. Here you can pull in the designated template and select preview to get a glimpse of how this email is going to look before it gets sent. Once everything looks good, just hit send!

Yes. Just CC and BCC individuals like you normally would on your emails. When it comes to tracking, though, our service will be unable to differentiate between who opened your email… whether it was the person in the "To" field or the "CC" field. You can occasionally guess this based on the user’s location and browser, but it’s not an exact science.

Typically when an error is thrown from toutapp.com it is due to an issue with the formatting of your email or the dynamic fields. Make sure everything is populating correctly in the compose window before trying to Send again.

If your emails are Bouncing, we would suggest opening up the Bounced email and checking out the Bounced reason. Unfortunately, we don't have a glossary of all the Bounce reasons, but if you Google the reason you will receive an explanation for the error message.

The "Add Email to Salesforce" button allows you to push any emails you receive in your inbox to your Salesforce account from Outlook or Gmail. We do the look up based on the sender of the email, so we can currently only use this button for emails you received - and not emails you sent. We are working on changing the functionality to allow to log emails you have already sent, but in the meantime, if it didn't automatically log when sent, or show up in your failed activities in the activity log you can forward it to your Salesforce BCC email address.

When sending from the Outlook or Gmail the most common reason for an email throwing an error is that you are not on the most up to date version of Tout. To check this, in Outlook go to ToutApp > Options > Check for Updates and in Gmail, open your Chrome extensions, and update them there. If this doesn't resolve it - try clearing your cache and history and give it another shot.

This means that we were unable to authenticate the connection to your SMTP server. Most likely, your password had changes recently and you just need to authenticate your new credentials. To do this, go to your [SMTP Settings](https://toutapp.com/next#settings/email-servers/smtp/configure) where you should see the same error message. Update your credentials and hit Authenticate and Save to see a confirmation message. Go into your Failed Deliveries to try resending those emails.
