To get your contacts into the Relationships page on toutapp.com, you can upload a CSV file and have these contacts synced to the Relationships page in one easy upload. Having these contacts in the Relationships page is important because this is what we pull from to auto-fill this personalized information into the dynamic fields in your templates. Important: Be sure to make sure you are always importing a name and an email address, the CSV will not import without email address. Also Important: CSV uploads are limited based on the size of the groups allowed in your subscription plan. Professional: 100 Team: 500 Enterprise: 1000 If your CSV file exceeds these limits for your plan, please break into smaller CSVs and try uploading again. Featured Articles: What are Dynamic Fields?

Unfortunately we currently don't have the ability to export contacts in a CSV file. Our team is aware of the need for this functionality and are working to add it soon. In the meantime, if you select all on the page and copy and paste it into a CSV file it will format the document correctly, you just have to do it one page at a time.

We are in the middle of a data migration to allow all double-byte characters(eg: 臼) to be uploaded in a CSV upload so we can better support our international customers. Unfortunately since it's a lot of data, and a long process it's creating some issues when uploading letters with accents during the migration. If you are seeing an error message like this, while it looks just like a bunch of Latin, the key is where it says "name =".  Whatever comes immediately after the phrase listed there is what is preventing your CSV from uploading.  You can search the CSV for that phrase and delete whatever comes immediately after. This can happen multiple times, and if this is the case you can also try these steps: for a Mac user: Right click csv file, and Open with Textedit File > Duplicate (⌘+Shift+S) File > Save (⌘+S) In the save dialog, under _Plain Text Encoding_ , choose _Unicode (UTF-8) Make sure to save it as a CSV from your finder Try uploading new file For a PC user: Open Notepad File > Open Choose CSV file File > Save as Append.csv to filename Save as type should be Text Documents Encoding should be UTF-8 Save and reupload Give that a shot and if you continue to have trouble, please send the CSV with a copy of the error message in Tout through toutapp.com/help. You can find the error message by clicking on our notifications icon.

As of 5/1/17 ToutApp will append a block unsubscribe link on any group email over 20 contacts. A block unsubscribe prevents anyone in your Tout subscription from emailing that Contact and it updates Salesforce with an opt-out This is not something that can be removed from emails because it avoids getting Spam complaints and our servers from being blacklisted. Additionally, it helps our users with inbox placement and to avoid bounces. Sending bulk emails without unsubscribe links is a big red flag for our email providers, email filters, as well as the blacklist companies.  If you don't want to have the unsubscribe link added, you will need to send in groups of 19 or less. You can update the content of the link in your Unsubscribe Settings
