Leads Routing and Sales Team Turn Over

Our MQLs are routed to our system consultants (or some would call them account executives) most of the time and our system checks for ownership of the contact/lead to do this. However, in some instances we have the leads go to SDRs who support those SCs (if owner email is XXXX then create task/send email to YYYY). Long story short, our sales team experiences frequent turn over and every time this happens I have a lot of places that changes must be made for our leads routing process. Does anyone have a similar problem? Is there a solution that we can implement like tokens that need to be changed in one place each time?

Re: Leads Routing and Sales Team Turn Over

Rachel,

What you can do is instead of having many campaigns routing leads, you can have a single campaign flow performing this. The other campaign can then request the campaign. This allows you to only have to edit one campaign.

For example, if you had 3 smart campaigns routing leads:

SC 1:

Flow: Sync Person to SFDC:

1. Assign to John Smith

2. Assign to Jane Doe

SC 2:

Flow: Sync Person to SFDC:

1. Assign to John Smith

2. Assign to Jane Doe

SC 3:

Flow: Sync Person to SFDC:

1. Assign to John Smith

2. Assign to Jane Doe

New Smart campaign:

Smart List: Campaign is Requested: Marketo Flow Action

Flow: Sync Person to SFDC:

1. Assign to John Smith

2. Assign to Jane Doe

Replace the flow steps in the 3 original smart campaigns with "Request Campaign" and select this new smart campaign. If this method does not work exactly, you can at least use the concept of Request Campaign to feed other smart campaigns into a single one so there is just one place to make edits.
