If Email Invalid=True or Unsubscribe=True, then Black Listed=True?

Would there be a benefit in creating a data management campaign to mark all Unsubscribed or Email Invalid as Black Listed? Despite searching the community quite a bit, I was unable to find an answer to this question.

My thought is that Black Listed=True would lower our list size pre-send, giving a more realistic view of audience size but this aim may be achieved through Email Invalid or Unsubscribe?

Thanks for your help!

Re: If Email Invalid=True or Unsubscribe=True, then Black Listed=True?

Hi Eric,

There is no benefit in doing so, IMHO.

The 3 notions are separate and should reflect different situations.

All of them are excluded from communications anyway (although email invalid and blacklisted are even excluded from operational emails, while unsubscribed are not).

All of them are excluded from the marketale database count.

Black listed are for people you really want to excluded, even if they are not unsubcribed not hard bounced.

If you want a count of your addressable database, just create a smart list that combines the 3 criteria.
