We are trying to setup some dynamic content on a landing page which will be linked to an email and when someone calls from the landing page, we will be able to attribute the call to the lead and be able to push that data back into Marketo. I haven't been able to find any documentation around how the landing page is linked to an email. I'm making the assumption that since the landing page is hosted by Marketo, I wouldn't need to add a link in my email.
You certainly need to add a link in your email, otherwise there will be nowhere for recipients to click!
When you add the link (standard <A href=>) Marketo will rewrite that link so that it goes to their click tracking domain first before going to your landing page, allowing for tracking that first click as well as subsequent page view tracking.
